U.S. PIRG (Public Interest Research Group), the federation of 26 state Public Interest Research Groups, works on behalf of American consumers for a fair and competitive marketplace. U.S. PIRG's mission is to deliver results-oriented public interest activism that protects consumers, encourages a fair, sustainable economy, and fosters responsive, democratic government. With a strong network of researchers, advocates, organizers and students in state capitals across the country, we take on the special interests in the areas of consumer protection, public transportation, product safety, health care, and good government.
